1:1 sessions are available both remotely and in person, across time zones and disciplines, and run on a sliding scale basis*. my in person locale is currently chicago, il.
to schedule a session or a consultation, email studio@leeraewalsh.com.
i offer support in the form of mentorship, project-based consultation, and tools for building /sustaining creative practice at any stage. this support can/may look like guided readings, language building (artist statements, project statements, creative writing) as well as editorial support of written or visual material, all with deep devotion to critical and curious dialog. these services are informed by anti-institutional, non-hierarchical, anti-capitalist, and queer lines of inquiry, but remain informed by my experience as an artist and (post) academic. i am interested in sharing resources that inspire and seduce a life that prioritizes art-making, whatever that may look like or mean, to / for you.
*these sessions are currently offered on a sliding scale of $50-$150 / hour, with a suggested two hour minimum. i ask that resources such as property ownership, medical stability, salaried jobs, intergenerational wealth and structural access to wealth be considered. i recognize that many people find themselves at intersections of different circumstances, & should assess and move in a way that makes sense to them. this proposed scale is a starting point, please reach out if you have questions. as a white and queer artist, i prioritize offering accessible resources to queer, trans, and artists of color. there is no need to disclose your circumstance when choosing to move inside or outside of this scale.
